Any data collected via any contact/enquiry form, such as our Reservation Form, on the site is freely provided by the person filling and submitting the form. This data is stored solely for the purpose of responding to the person submitting the form, and for future recognition of the person’s history/relationship with O-Tokuda, to aid in providing a high standard of user support and maintaining a positive user experience.

Online Ordering Account

Any data collected if you save your information for quicker future online ordering is freely provided by the person filling and submitting the form. This data is stored solely for the customer’s convenience, responding to the person submitting the form, and for future recognition of the person’s history/relationship with O-Tokuda, to aid in providing a high standard of user support and maintaining a positive user experience.

If you have your browser set to accept cookies, standard cookies (as used by most websites) will be stored by your browser. Cookies help to streamline your experience if you return to the website. No personal information or data is collected from you through the use of these cookies.

Cookies related to Comments, website accounts and user submitted content

How long O-Tokuda retains your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so O-Tokuda can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on this website, O-Tokuda also stores the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

For subscribers to any O-Tokuda mailing lists, O-Tokuda only retains your self-provided data in O-Tokuda’s mailing systems until such a time you choose to unsubscribe from particular mailing lists. If you unsubscribe from one list, O-Tokuda may still hold your information if you are subscribed to other lists, until such a time that you also unsubscribe from those lists.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data O-Tokuda holds about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that O-Tokuda erases any personal data held about you. This does not include any data O-Tokuda is obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
